European Drug Utilisation Research Group (EuroDURG) Conference 2017
15th – 17th November 2017
Technology & Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK
Online Registration will close 31st October 2017
On behalf of the Scientific and Local Organising Committees we extend a warm welcome to Glasgow, Scotland for the EuroDURG 2017 Scientific meeting. Healthcare and medication use are changing and the field of drug utilisation research is evolving in a digital world. For this reason we chose as our theme for this meeting:
Patients, Medicines, Bytes: Drug Utilisation Research and E-health.
The European branch of the ISPE Special Interest Group for Drug Utilisation Research has designed an attractive educational and scientific programme. We start with a half day of educational sessions on drug utilisation research by leading experts from across Europe and more globally. This will be followed by a broad range of plenary sessions on digital health technology, big data informatics and global health policy interspersed with workshops and sessions exploring new methodological approaches and drug use research in a wide range of clinical areas to drive improvement in the real world use of medicines.
We hope you will join us in lively discussions throughout the meeting and at the poster walk sessions on Thursday and Friday. EuroDURG meetings traditionally combine great scientific content with surprising social events. So come to the conference welcome reception, hosted at our historic City Chambers, and our conference dinner at the Glasgow Science Centre, on the banks of the Clyde River and experience a Scottish ceilidh.
